Harry Mindgame delivers his first Hip Hop EP. Part Instrumental part vocal. His aim was to fuse that old school 90’s Hip Hop mentality with a sprinkling palette of Jazz loops, breaks and horns along with a deep selection of Modular Synthesis sounds which together create a ModBap Sound.

This is also the first part of a trilogy in which the theme is the exploration of Music and embedding that exploration of Space and Time. The video images and stills will capture the essence of futuristic Music, Space and time.

Harry Mindgame's Theme
The introduction and sets up the EP. The track was built on what we call the Modular Mothership. From which modular sounds were sampled, pitched down and looped. This was then added to drum patterns from the ISLA Instruments S2400 sampling Drum Machine. This track set’s the scene for the rest of the EP that follows.

Adventures In Sound
All about Harry Mindgame’s journey in Music, Tech, Modular Synthesis, Sound Systems, and the exploration of music and sound. This one is for all those out there who are geeks but also creative. There is room for both.

Alley
The fusion of Jazz samples, loops, vocal samples, turntable scratches, the modular synth mothership as well as chopped up beats and reprogrammed on the S2400, MPC3000, Ableton Push. Enter our cosmic realm, the alley of the mind.


Bounce Back
An ode to the old school days of HipHop anthems. The head nod, the lean when that sound hits you.

Villainous
HipHop with Jazz infused horns the way it used to be done in 90’s Hip Hop. That dark and dusty sound. Mindgame cruising through space and time.

Modulated World
Swirling soundscape, Jazz horns, Low slung back pack Hip Hop groove with a solid bassline. Another ode to Jazz by the vocal references of Jazz stores that people used to frequent.
What kind of world are we in. Are we all modulated? Are we all controlled.
